“Two cakes for a joint 60th — they looked gorgeous. Chocolate fudge oozing through the layers, and the lemon cake was wonderfully zesty. Guests loved them.”
You know when something becomes so iconic, it earns the title “The” something—like it’s in a league of its own? Well, my rich, moist chocolate cake is exactly that. Around here, it’s known simply as The Chocolate Cake—the go-to, the standard, the one. And it’s not just local legend: in 2025, it was officially crowned ‘Britain’s Best Cake’ at the awards of the same name while also taking home the Classic Cake Award as well.
This is a cake that will guarantee you all the attention you deserve. Perfect for any celebration, gift or birthday – and as ever, you customise with the size, filling, a personalised message and decoration.
