Abba Cakes was founded by Colombian-born pastry chef Laura Alejandra — a maker who believes cake is more than dessert. It is a moment shared, a memory made, and on your wedding day it should feel unmistakably yours.
We work with couples across the Wirral, Chester, and further afield. Whether you dream of classic elegance, modern minimalism, or something playful and personal, we listen first — then design a cake that fits your venue, palette, and palate.
Many couples come to us after seeing our work in Hoylake or Chester, or after a recommendation from a guest who still talks about the buttercream. However you find us, you will get the same attention to detail we bring to every celebration.

More than a single tier
Tiered wedding cakes
Two to five tiers, sized for your guest list. Dummy tiers available where you want height without extra portions.
Cupcake towers
Individual portions with a small cutting cake on top — easy to serve and ideal for mixed flavour preferences.
Dessert tables & extras
Brownies, blondies, macarons, and mini bakes to complement your main cake and keep the sweet table stocked.
Dietary requirements
Tell us about allergies and preferences early — we will advise what is possible and how to label portions clearly on the day.

We discuss structure, style, and sponge options. You receive a clear proposal so you know exactly what to expect before anything is confirmed.

Confirm & plan
Once you are happy, we secure your date and agree collection or delivery timings. We stay in touch as the day approaches.

Your cake is baked as close to the wedding as possible, finished by hand, and prepared for transport with care.

Everything couples usually ask before they book — if yours is not here, just ask.
Popular dates fill quickly, especially spring and summer weekends. We recommend enquiring at least six to twelve months ahead, though do get in touch if your date is sooner — we will always tell you honestly what is possible.
